Spent one night there for training with work. Stunning and traditional exterior and lobby. Room was clean if a little dated in decor. The hotel location is near the city centre, but still not too busy. Another good thing was the 4th floor room, which was in excellent condition. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was tasty. We had a great visit in Edinburgh and the Melvin House Hotel contributed to that. more
