We came here for a weekend in July and really loved the place. Our room had a view out over the estuary and the hills beyond which are just breathtaking. The room was large and very comfy with modern decor. The bed was lovely and the bathroom was very nicely modern and shining clean. Staff on the front desk were... more

The Quay is situated on the edge of the water at Deganwy with spectacular views of the harbour, Conwy castle and Degany marina. Despite booking well in advance the hotel unfortunately could not accommodate us in the same room for our 4 night stay for which they apologised. So, we booked 2 nights in a suite with harbour view and... more

I phoned for an overnight stay rate and was quoted £145. After considering other hotels, went onto their website to book. Rate of £125 came up for the night requested. Proceeded to complete their reservations form, name, address etc, etc. Got to the end and couldn't get the form to complete. Tried again twice unsuccessfully. Phoned them again, approx 20... more

Most of the rates for the Quay Hotel and Spa quoted on web based booking agents are set as a 'Room Only Rate' whereas the rates quoted from the hotel directly usually include Breakfast (a full Welsh Breakfast would amount to £25.90 for 2 guests) hence the difference between the £125 Classic Room Rate seen earlier online and the £155...

From start to finish the whole experience was superb. Child friendly, welcoming, helpful, excellent food and service and spotlessley clean. The Quay values its clientele and the staff go to great lengths to ensure that your needs are met - pricy, a little but there were no niggly bits so in my opinion it was well worth it and we... more

We had heard so much about the Quay Hotel being the place to go in North Wales so decided to book a table for my parents Golden Wedding celebration. The food came nowhere close to being of a standard you expect in a 5 star hotel. Call me boring, but I went for the Rib eye steak and it was,... more

I have to say I would have ask Gordon Ramsey to keep away from the Quay Hotel & Spa - we have an exceptional kitchen team, including a number of award winning chefs who have gained many accolades for the quality of our food. I would further confirm our meat is sourced from local Welsh butchers and I was totally...

We rang the hotel orginally and the quote they gave us was really expensive. Then saw it cheaper on expedia so my husband rang the hotel and asked if they could do us a deal. They offered us an extra night free, which sounded good, so we had 3 nights there. On arrival - The guy on reception was outstanding... more

Pleased to read you enjoyed the location, the room, the views and delighted my Reception staff were outstanding. Sorry we couldn't provide drier days for your anniversary stay. I am surprised that the sausages and black pudding was not to your taste - I would further confirm they are top quality and sourced from Edwards of Conwy, an award winning...

My friend and I stayed in Llandudno/Conwy at various hotels during our stay, and we were able to directly compare our experiences. I booked a Penthouse, my friend stayed in an 'Exec Double'. Without question, this is the best hotel we stayed at in the area, including direct comparisons with other "4 star" venues. My suite was clean and modern,... more

My parents have a cottage in Conwy (about 5 mins from the hotel), so I have visited the hotel for dinner and to use the spa mny times before staying. My boyfriend decided to treat me. We had an amazing time. The staff were very helpful; nothing seems like too much to ask. The food is delicious, breakfast was huge(!),... more

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for a wedding last month, I knew the hotel was a 5 star before arriving but we were overwhelmed when we eventually arrived. The Marina surrounding the hotel is gorgeous and we had a room which had patio doors opening out onto the marina and overlooked Conwy Castle. Could not fault the... more

So pleased to learn that you enjoyed your stay and the wedding celebrations when you stayed with us last month. Apologies for the technical "hitch" with the sauna - all resolved now. Looking forward to welcoming you back for your next visit.
