I had booked a room there for my husband's birthday, a little getaway weekend. When we got there, the front desk guy was talking to two ladies. Instead of greeting me and asking me to wait just a little, he simply left with them to show them a couple of rooms. Five minutes later, when he came back, he stood... more

Beautiful small hotel. The rooms are stylish and interesting, although a bit small...but in a compact way. I would not suggesting upgrading to a suite from a standard room as after seeing both the suite is not too much larger than a standard room. The breakfast (included with hotel) is delicious - I think I tried all three options while... more

Just got back from Quebec this past weekend and stayed at this great hotel. We knew we picked the right spot when we saw people walking around everywhere. Its such a great place tucked right next to the Chateau, restaurants, shops and even easy access to lower town. We had a front room which was spacious and very modern. Noise... more

Pros: -location, location, location -fresh and tasty breakfast included -superb staff; very friendly and accommodating -quiet and clean Cons: -contemporary design tries a little too hard and ends up being impractical; i.e., nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom (as other reviewers mention), very odd rippled glass partition between bed area and bathroom which allows you to see into the bathroom... more

I stayed at this hotel two years in a row for Le Carnaval de Quebec, in February. We loved it the first time and decided to stay here again. This hotel is pretty much across the street from Le Chateau Frontenac. It is great because you have easy access everything, both the lower and upper city. The rooms are spacious... more

Stayed in room 305 and our friends were in room 307 Our rooms were small but renovated in the modernistic style Bed was a queen and very comfortable Closet space was limited to 4 hangers Shelving in the room and bathrooms were non existant. We had to move one bedside table into the bathroom to put our stuff on. Breakfasts... more

Close but....this hotel seems to be trying to be a boutique with some snazzy renovations, cool bathrooms, dark wood trim,etc...but these nice touches just exaggerate the missing details...like decent linens, fresh air, and an attentive (not indifferent) staff. Also many of the rooms are small- very small- and the place smelled like a combination of room freshener and cigarrette smoke... more

The hotel is located only a couple minutes walk to the Chateau Frontenac. So, you're right in the thick of things. It's also located on a quiet charming little street. We had some trouble trying to check in though. We showed up at 1pm and wanted to drop our bags off. We waited our turn in line, but were told... more

My husband and I made a last minute decision to go to Quebec City over the holidays for our honeymoon and Hotel Sainte Anne was the prefect choice for us. Upon our arrival we were greeted with friendly service and a bottle of champagne. We had a beautiful room with a view of the Chateau, an old stone fireplace (not... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Hotel Sainte Anne for a weekend during Carnival. We booked well in advance and figured that we would spend a little more and get a really nice room in this boutique hotel. Unfortunately, our money would have been better spent elsewhere. Upon entering the hotel we were overwhelmed by a very bizzar and nauseating... more
