It was very good from the beginning. I was allowed to check-in early (1pm instead of 3pm). I had a king size bed and it was spacious, liked the mini-fridge that was there. The location was good, it wasn't that far from the famous "Clifton Hill". The area around the hotel was so-so though, very dead in the evening, so... more
This hotel couldn't be more perfect. It was very very close to Clifton Hill(less than 2 minutes). The breakfast was better than expected, you just had to be there before 9am or else there would be a line up. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The mini fridge was perfect and a good size. The staff were helpful and plesant. I definetely... more
My husband and I just went for one night to celebrate our anniversary and also for our first child-less weekend! The hotel was in a fantastic location, I cant believe how quiet it is considering how close to Clifton Hill it is. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were pleasant and check... more
Deliberately chose the Clifton Hills area of Niagara. With two teenagers in tow wanted somewhere with plenty of life right on our doorstep. My partner and I took a road trip from Milwaukee, WI to Niagara Falls/Toronto over a 6 day period. This was the second hotel that we stayed at during our trip. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the major Niagara Falls attractions (Canadian side) and is also near the popular Clifton Hill area. We stayed in a... more
We visited Niagara in mid Aug-08 (two couple’s total). We originally wanted a falls view hotel, but we changed those plans quickly...and looked for a budget hotel. We booked a room based on the reviews here. We were looking for a hotel near Clifton hill but away from the noise (this hotel is perfectly located). For those of you who... more
If you like the hub-bub on the Canadian side, but don't want to be smack in the middle of it, this is a great hotel to stay at. It's about 1 1/2 blocks from Clifton Hill where the crowds are (and the video games and chain resaurants and ice cream stores and pizza joints and fast food and Haunted Houses).... more
We booked this hotel based on reviews we read here. When we went into our rooms it was horrible. They put us in the old section of the hotel. The rooms were tiny with no place to put luggage. The room was a disaster. with chipped paint and damaged furniture. The air conditioning didnt work either. I do have to... more
We were 3 generations traveling together - they have rooms that allow 6 people which was great since you are only in the room to sleep. Room was clean had good sized refrigerator and microwave, coffee maker. We had a mix up with a non smoking room and the manager Sonny and General Manager went out of their way to... more
