Stayed here 3 nights at august. Location was quite ok, took some time with taxi from Halifax center but not too bad. You can also get here with bus 6, right front of the hotel. We just spent 3 nights at this hotel. They upgraded our room to a lake view on a higher floor for free. The staff was very nice and helpful. We dropped in here unannounced on a rainy day. We were warmly greeted and quickly made comfortable. The dining services and food were excellent. There's even a chocolate-coloured lab named Chocolate in residence at the front desk. more

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Chocolate lake for two days and we were completely satisfied with the experience. The rooms were spacious and clean.
