On March Break me and my family stayed at the Marriott in Halifax for 2 nights! Our room had two nice double beds, a t.v , and a bathroom seprate from the rest. It was very nicely decorated and very clean. It was within walking distance to everything downtown! We went to the rainmen game, we went to the old... more

We requested a king bed and when we checked in we were given a room with 2 double beds. We called the front desk and asked to be changed, but since it was 1:30 AM, they told us they did not have any other rooms. So we asked to be moved to a King room the next day...! It didn't... more

Everything was perfect about this hotel. Check in was a breeze, the room was beautiful and the location amazing. It's on the harbourfront on the boardwalk and less than a 5 minute walk to Tim Hortons and the Ferry. It connects to the casino and shopping too. I think this should be rated a 5 star hotel, and I'm reallllly... more

Wow, we always enjoy everything here. It's our 5th time here, we stayed before and after the 2006-2007 renovations, but only since it's been a Marriott, not when it was a no brand hotel and even before that when it was a Sheraton Hotel. Why is it that so many hotels just can't get it and then some like this... more

The hotel is right in the middle of the action downtown. My wife and I found plentiful options for food just outside the doors of the hotel in the harbourfront market. They had live music at night, and I overheard someone telling his friend that that is a pretty good scene on the weekends. We got breakfast each day in... more

My family of four just got back from a swing to the Maritimes and we stayed at this hotel for the first couple of nights. It was our first trip to Halifax and I'd recommend this hotel for its completely central location, with lots of good restaurants and sightseeing attractions within walking distance. We had a harbour view room which... more

Sometimes booking through a third party creates problems. This was one of those times. We booked our flights and this hotel through United.com and although a good hotel we did not receive the room we believed we booked. We expected a harbor view room and upon being taken to our room discovered it was not a harbor view room. The... more

We traveled to Halifax to drop our student off for a Semester at Sea voyage. We wanted to have access to the local area without driving. This hotel fit the bill. At check in they had us placed in a room with a king bed. I told the check in clerk that was not an option and requested a room... more

I have booked this hotel through our inbound Canadian agent. When you walked out the hotel you are immediately at the coast walk and in downtown. Modern hotel with was a Casino in the early days. Now they use that kind of space for conventions and other things. Rooms are spacious. With all amenities. You can also switch your laptop... more

We booked a room in Halifax for a night and were excited to have the Marriott as our result! The location on the harbour was great, walking distance to all downtown bars/restaurants and shopping. We spent the day touring the city and relaxed in the hotel hot tub in the late afternoon before heading out to dinner. The hotel was... more
