Honestly, I was very impressed with this hotel at first. We got a room on the 23rd floor without booking in advance. It was reasonably priced and accepted pets. It was however very far from the edmonton mall which was a disappointment. And to add to that, we returned to our truck the next morning to find the window shattered... more

Central Location near downtown LRT (Edmonton's Subway) Parkade ($9) under construction. Lobby and furnishings/wall decorations are tired and out of date. Beds are super comfortable. Rooms are quiet. Value priced for downtown with Entertaiment card on hotel's website. Wifi included and worked well. Not bad view of downtown from Eleventh floor. more

I was thriled to be allocated to the quiet floor for the two king rooms I booked online. As requested when booking we were given two adjacent rooms (it is amazing how many hotels cannot fill this simple request).Although the hotel is old the rooms were airy, clean and well-maintained. The hotel was well located to explore sights in and... more

I booked this hotel online and pre-paid premium rates for a King Suite so I could sleep and hold a small meeting since they boasted it was a very large suite on an upper floor. After traveling all day, I arrived at 11pm. I was informed that they did not offer valet parking. I was supposed to unload my luggage... more

This hotel is very classy, it just happens to be in a bad location if you are looking for something fun to do. We walked for a long way downtown before we found anything close to this hotel that we could eat or do for fun. Great views of the river and the revolving restaurant is a good time, but... more

If you have to stay in edmonton and don't care about pool/hot tub/spa this is a clean hotel with nice beds and free wifi. It's got some pretty nice views as it overlooks the river valley and there is an okay bar on the main level. If you want to go for a walk and get some good food try... more

The parkade has no security monitoring it 24/7. Vehicle break ins are a nightly occurrance. The hotel has signs telling you to remove valuables from your vehicle, I did that and they still broke in. When I reported it at the front desk they did not seem too concerned since it happens nightly. The head office was quick to point... more

No complaints really. Staff was friendly, ground floor bar was ok to hang out in. I travel mostly for business and this fit the bill. Not too pricey, no extra fee for internet access in the room (wireless), Never made it to the restaurant (La Ronde) as I wanted to explore the local area but I am going again next... more

My husband and I had been going to Chateau Lacombe for years. It had become a tradition to celebrate our anniversary there. However, our most recent experience in December/07 has certainly changed our outlook on the hotel. As a start, the hotel is under new management who quite obviously has no regard for customer service. There is no Bellboy at... more
