walked the length of the Tulum beach and Las Ranitas truly has one of the best stretches of beach. The hotel has a large, secluded section of the beach as well. This is a place for anyone who wants a quiet undisturbed rest- Not for the high-maintenance crowd- No parties or parasailing here. This is a sweet hotel in a lovely part of Tulum and it could have been a beautiful vacation were it not for an impending hurricane. The staff was wonderful, immediately advised us of the potential danger and was more than willing to refund the remainder of our prepaid stay and help our family (including two children under 5) evacuate.... more
