Caribbean island ambience, colonial Mexican style. Casa Sirena is an intimate retreat. Amenities include traditional Mexican breakfast entrees and complimentary happy hour. Located in the heart of a quaint island village, guests are a short walk from wonderful restaurants, colorful shops, and the finest white sand beaches in the Caribbean. We spent a year carefully restoring this 60-year-old colonial-style residence, preserving its unique historic ambience while adding the comforts of a contemporary boutique hotel. more » « less

We stayed at Casa Sirena for 10 days for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The welcome we received upon arrival was incredibly warm and the hospitality throughout our stay was the best we have ever experienced. Thanks to Steve and Daniel we ate at some fantastic restaurants on the island and went on some brilliant excursions. Casa Sirena... more

My girlfriend and I stayed in Room #6 from July 26-August 2. We would go back in a heartbeat and can't heap enough praise on Steve and his friend's Daniel and Robert for making our week so much fun! No need to describe the place because there are many descriptions in past reviews. They are all completely accurate. The house... more

A half hour away from the bustling, anonymous corporate hotels in Cancun, there is a small island where you can eat fresh ceviche under palm-fronds on white sand beaches. And on this enchanting island, two minutes from the beach, there is a small 6-room hotel called Casa Sirena. Quite simply, this is the best hotel experience I have ever had.... more

And a great one-of-a-kind travel experience at that. It all begins and ends with Steve the owner. He makes you feel less like a hotel visitor and more like a welcome guest in his home. From Steve's wacky band of expat. friends to charming, gracious locals like Jose, our patient, ever-smiling tour guide, Casa Sirena is a cast of wonderful... more

My boyfriend and I just returned from our stay at Casa Sirena. We have never been so glad to be home from vacation. I want to start by saying the interior of this building is nicely done and kept clean. With that said if you enjoy vacationing in the slums then this is the place to go. Our view from... more

Breakfast and happy hour are the heart and soul of Casa Sirena's hospitality. I hosted a little party for hotel guests and island friends the night these guests arrived. They came late, hovered nervously on the fringe of the fiesta, and abruptly departed well before last call. They never returned to give our happy hour a second chance and skipped...

I visited Casa Sirena to celebrate my 45th birthday. Casa Sirena is a beautiful place where all guests are treated like true friends! The rooms are spectacular and comfortable and the breakfast is amazing every day, but the highlight of each day is coming "home" to cocktails on the roof. Steve truly went out of his way to make my... more

We just returned from a wonderful week on Isla Mujeres at Casa Sirena. This little B&B is beautiful and peaceful. It is in a great location - walking distance to restaurants and beaches. We stayed in room #6 and loved the view especially when Tropical Storm Dolly arrived and we could watch the waves rolling in. My husband and I... more

On a little street, right by the ocean, you find this incredible bed and breakfast! The interior is beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The downstairs is the office area, kitchen and dining room with a computer for the guest to use, games, books and a map of the island. Just outside the dining room is a lovely... more

My fiance and I recently spent a week at Casa Sirena and I can't say enough about how amazing our experience was. It was the perfect vacation and best hotel experience we've ever had. And I'm not just saying this because we got engaged in the rooftop pool. The owner, Steve, is the most wonderful and amazing host. You will... more

I just returned from a long weekend with friends at Casa Sirena and have nothing but great things to say about it. The location is walkable to the most beautiful swimming beach on the island and all the restaurants/shops downtown. The inexpensive room where I stayed was large and airy, with a luxurious bathroom and new stonework all around. It... more
