Caribbean island ambience, colonial Mexican style. Casa Sirena is an intimate retreat. Amenities include traditional Mexican breakfast entrees and complimentary happy hour. Located in the heart of a quaint island village, guests are a short walk from wonderful restaurants, colorful shops, and the finest white sand beaches in the Caribbean. I just returned from a long weekend with friends at Casa Sirena and have nothing but great things to say about it. The location is walkable to the most beautiful swimming beach on the island and all the restaurants/shops downtown. The inexpensive room where I stayed was large and airy, with a luxurious bathroom and new stonework all around. It... more

This was our second stay at Casa Sirena. We stayed longer this time. That should give you a good indication of how much we like it. It is a great boutique style hotel in a great location on Isla Mujeres. Steve the owner is a great host and full of useful information on the island, people, beaches and especially the... more

Made reservations in advance and lost passport. Called 5 days in advance to cancel my reservation and still charged me for both nights. From what I read and was told about this (Casa Sirena) place-I believed it was a legitimate B&B. This was the ONLY place that did not work with me (Resorts, car rentals, tours etc..) Maybe Isla Mujeres... more

I hate it when I am publically exposed for violating my own hotel policies. An exception to our three-night minimum stay was made to accommodate the writer's request for a two-night stay. Our policy regarding refunds is clearly stated and was agreed to when his reservation request was made. Our advice to purchase trip insurance, which could have protected his...

Casa Sirena provide my wife and I the most memorable Carribean experience ever. Steven is a wonderful host whom invites you into his residence for relaxation and memories. The B&B feels like home, rooms are very comfortable (even with sunburn), breakfast is outta this world good, and happy hour on the roof provide entertainment with other guest as well as... more

My husband and I recently stayed at Casa Sirena for five nights. Everything about the stay could not have been more wonderful. We used the private transfers, recommended by Steven, from the airport to the ferry. The inn is a short walk and really is a wonderful clean island. Upon arriving at the inn, we were greeted by Steven and... more

Hola, I'm sad that I had to leave Casa Serena so soon. I will certainly go back some day. Steve, the owner and host, welcomes you into his lovely home and makes you feel like you are part of the "island family". We really enjoyed the evening happy hours. It gave us a chance to meet other guest's and hear... more

What's not to love about a B & B that immediately makes you feel like a local? And folds your towels into different animal shapes each day? And tempts you to the rooftop with Happy Hour margaritas so you don't miss a single sunset? I could go on, about the over-the-top breakfasts, the original art work, detailed directions both to... more

I stayed with my relatives and friends here to celebrate my brother in laws 50th birthday. The website that showed this place were lovely but everything exceeded my expectations for the week. The rooms are truly lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the cocktail hour on the terrace at sunset -spectacular views and the wonderful extra's all made our stay so enjoyable.... more

When my girlfriend and I staggered off the Isla Ferry at 7:45 pm after a non-stop 3 1/2 hour flight which made a 12 hour day, we just mentioned the name Steve to the ferry baggage guy, he threw our stuff into a cart, and we took off after him for a couple of blocks, to the Casa we'd seen... more

Casa Sirena is by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are beautiful, happy hour on the roof is a blast, and the location is great. Steve makes sure each guest is having a great time and is full of suggestions of what to do and where to eat. The breakfasts are ridiculously good and... more
