This all inclusive resort needs some major renovations. The elevators rarely worked for the 5 nights I was there. Lucky for me I was on the third floor and just always took the stairs. The bathrooms are old & tired. Rusty spots, an open drain, old fixtures (see photos). I expected more. The rooms are generic and poorly decorated. There... more

We just returned from our honeymoon at Dreams. It was amazing. We booked our stay through applevacations.com and would definitely recommend it. They called us before our trip and informed us that the newer tower we had booked would be closed. They also refunded the extra money we paid for the junior suite. When we arrived at the airport in... more

It was three years since we went, but still consider it one of the best trips I've had. We went on our honeymoon, and it was absolutely wonderful. We had a jacuzzi on the balcony which was very nice place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Beach was nice to layout, we were not hounded by vendors. Drinks were great, food... more

We spent our honeymoon at Dreams, in a junior suite in the Club tower. The service was great, the pools were beautiful especially the infinity adult-only pool. The beach was kept nicely, good swimming, no beach traffic from other resorts and there were lots of lounge chairs and speedy drink service. The water isn't the brilliant turquoise of the caribbean... more

I just got back from a "girls trip" at the Dreams Resort & Spa yesterday. Although everything was wonderful, I would not recommend this as a spot for a "girls trip" as it is a very romantic, couple friendly resort (at least it was when I was there). We had 6 honeymooners on our floor alone (not that this is... more

We booked our September honeymoon at Dreams through Orbitz back in April after reading hundreds of reviews for hotels in PV. Saw all the negativity about the old tower and made sure to book a room in the new tower. We figured since we'd be there during the rainy season, we better get a good room since we may be... more

We went to Dreams in Puerto Vallarta for 7 nights for our honeymoon. We were really excited to get there since we were looking forward to our Preferred Room in the new tower with a jacuzzi on the balcony! Well, after waking up at 3am and spending the day flying, we were harassed by time share people at the airport... more

First of all... the NEW TOWER is CLOSED for the next few months. They did not tell us this until we were checking in. We paid for the upgrade and really wanted to stay in that tower. After all was said and done (I was HOT!) they ended up putting us on the 10th floor with a balcony in the... more

This was mine and my husbands 4th all-inclusive? We've did Marriott Aruba, RIU Cancun and Iberostar Bavaro Punta Cana. I still liked Aruba better, because we didn't have to eat at a buffet. Please keep in mind that if this is your first all-inclusive, the food and scenery would be 100% AMAZING. I would say 90%, only because I liked... more
