This was a last minute booking which made me a little nervous at first but once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how cute this hotel was compared to most of the hotels in the hotel zone. You really felt like you were in Mexico and not somewhere in the U.S. in a fancy hotel. All in all the... more

The Costa Club was great. We stayed from Feb.29-Mar.8/08, and I have no major complaints. Well I could say the food wasn't the best, but there was plenty of options and I could always count on a good bowl of soup with crackers and icecream for dessert....the snack bar opens 12-6pm always had yummy lunch-burgers, hotdogs, chicken nuggets, nachos, fruits....I... more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!!!!! The food was barely edible, there was no hot water and the pool gave me a rash. I wouldn't stay here again even if the trip was free. more

Arrived at 2 AM. On check-in we were told that we couldn't get a safe, and should come back in the AM. Bag boy takes our luggage to the room, but the room has people sleeping in it. We go back to the desk and are assigned another room. Three weeks earlier, when we had made our reservation, I requested... more

Staff very friendly, although a few of them only speak spanish, it was good. Showers were a little cool sometimes, but alright. Clean rooms, can hear sometimes your drunk neighbours rolling in, but other than that... more

Our stay at the hotel was good. The staff were extremely nice and some, not all speak english but most understand what you say anyways. We were there only 7 night but have not complaints. Food was good at the Buffet, and the Italian restaurant plus the dining at the pool, all good. We never coated our stomachs for any... more

We (2- 50+adults and our 90 year old mother) had a very pleasant, comfortable stay at this Mexican style, easy going resort. I spoke to other vacationers who loved the low key atmosphere, just as we did. My sister had just returned from Mazatlan at a 4* resort and found the waiters were snotty. We had GREAT staff with no... more

Our first trip to mexico and we weren't too impressed with Puerto Vallarta in general. The costa club was decent just what you would expect for $700 each for a week AI. We never got sick from the food, never had anything stolen and the service other than the bar was good. The bar was disappointing, any drinks that came... more
