My boyfriend and I stayed at Costa Vida in mid-August for our first trip to Mexico. We were welcomed to our room by the most breath taking view of the ocean. The view alone was worth the $199 we paid for a 7 day "special rate getaway". Maid service was better than any resort or hotel I've stayed at. Maintenance... more

I stayed at the costa vida last march durign spring break. It was very mellow. The staff was super nice, rooms were clean, food was good. The only bad thing was the beach. It was nice but rocky. They have activities during the day and music at night. If you plan on going there, look for the old man named... more

The accommodations were excellent: clean, quiet, and very reasonably priced. The staff treated you like family yet also allowed you as much privacy as you might care for. Definitely a place we'd like to stay again. more

We have owned a unit in the north tower for 24 years. This October, we will be taking our 30th trip to PV and to CVV. We extended our ownership beyond the 2009 end date, and are glad we did. Our grown children have been there several times and will continue for many years to come. We enjoy the quiet,... more

The hotel is located a little outside of the downtown area. Just far enough to avoid the crowds. It was very easy to catch the bus into town for dinner or shopping..... and very inexpensive. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. The first night we were placed in... more

This was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta and thus our first time at Costa Vida. In all honestly, we tried to book the La Joya de Mismaloya but it was filled during the time we went. More about that later. The Costa Vida is a great place to stay if what you are looking for is friendly staff, decent food,... more

My husband and I planned this last minute trip to Puerto Vallarta and it landed us in Costa Vida. This was the only place that our timeshare had available for us during Spring Break. So we didn't exclusively choose it. We just wanted to make use of our timeshare exchange week. First off, my husband and I had a grand... more

We have been staying at Costa Vida for the last 10 years and love it. The balconies face out directly over the ocean and the views of the setting sun are incredible. It is a low key, casual place, where it is easy to make friends, join in a game of dominoes or cards, or take off to town for... more

We found this place to be a very relaxing and wonderful place. They have just rebuilt the sea wall to calm the waters down and replaced the beach and its access. The staff there is very courtious and will go out of there way to please you. WE have been vacationing at Costa Vida for the last 4 years and... more
