I had a great experience at the Hyatt. I was there from Nov. 17 - Nov. 22, 20007. The room was very clean and very large, the bathroom and closet were large also. The water temperature and pressure were great. The beds were hard, but ask any chiro and that is the best. The balcony was big, and we had... more

I just stayed some days ago, my room was no to clean, really old furniture and floors, we found a roach, a small one but still a roach, in the bathroom the first night, pretty difficult to obtain the temperature in the water you want, the balconies are nice and big, room is big but looks like that because fail... more

The Hyatt is at the beginning of the main strip of hi-rise hotels. Its obviously seen better days, but its not falling apart either. Don't get your hopes up for the beach - its small and pretty uninviting. Best thing - the a/c worked great in the rooms - and the breakfast buffet. Warning - for some reason there are... more

we have stayed at this hotel over 30 years...it is still the classiest on the main strip..check in was easy,as we were on the concierge floor we proceeded to there to check in which was really nice and calm (checked us out there also with no problems) The bellman are exceptional. We did think the ladies at the main front... more

First, I had pre-paid my stay. I arrived and they had already checked someone in on my pre-pay. This took them 30 min to figure out & finally I was given a room on the 3rd floor. It did not feel safe at all. The glass door would not lock & the next door roof was right there. There was... more

Went to Acapulco in May 2007 for a business conference. I stayed at the Hyatt Regency. I had read reviews of bed bugs and all sorts of negative things, so I was kinda nervous. I have to say that generally, I was pleasantly surprised. This is the first time in a while where I have been to beach destination that... more

This is a top-of-the-line hotel. I stayed there for about 5 days and was very pleased all around. The lobby area is quite nice with very large plants that make for nice natural decoration. My hotel room was spacious and it had a great view of Acapulco bay. The room had marble floors and the furniture was of high quality.... more

The Hyatt chain should be ashamed of having their name in this property. Some of the reasons: 1. The rooms haven't been updated in 20+ years 2. In one of the rooms (we were a party of 2 of rooms) the TV was a 12 inch, impossible to see from the distance where the bed was, also the cable failed... more

Okay... before I get into their cons, here are some pros. They have very friendly staff. it's in town, it's a short walk to all the places to eat, and shop. So here are cons... Thin walls and old rooms. You can hear everything!!! Also, they have an outdoor bar/club with loud music. We tried to get some sleep but... more

This hotel is old but still in good shape, it is right next to the naval base which is very small. We stayed here pre-cruise. It is not the same as a Hyatt in the USA. So make sure that you have this in mind when you choose this hotel. The elevators are slow and there is no carpeting in... more
