This Sheraton is at the bottom of my list. I stayed as a starwoods gold guest for $108 on the 11th (top) floor. Room was huge with a mini bar, king bed, couch, ottoman, office desk etc. Bathroom floor needed mopped and the glass window needed windexed as there were palm and finger prints everywhere on the glass. Pool was... more

I stayed a couple days at the Sheraton for a business trip back in '07. Service was average and so were the room amenities. Expect to pay for "additional" services like internet and parking (it will add up). Location is ok as it is in the downtown area. Bathroom fixtures and shower needed some repair. The safe in the room... more

I just happened to stay here for a few days and felt very comfortable. It was within close walking distance of shoppin and Old Monterrey where you can dine and go clubbing. The room was spacious, cold, and very clean. The recepction area was beautiful, the only problem I had was with a reception lady who showed a little attitude... more

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms did show some wear, but were more than adequate. The location was very convenient. I was not aware of any safety issues here. I definitely would consider staying here when I return to Monterrey. more

This is touted as a 5 star hotel but only in the lobby. The rooms were average for amenities and many things were in disrepair. The toilet seat was loose the safe needing new batteries, the hardware on things in the room were broke or missing. It didn’t have the things that are becoming standard in the US like free... more

I stayed here one night on a business trip. Got a good rate $90 Internet. Hotel is older (Originally built 1953, rebuilt 1971, updated many times since) but my 6th floor room was quite nice. There were a couple of very minor maintenance issues (bath fixtures look worn, shaving mirror attached with paper clip) but the bed was excellent and... more

I am writing this review only because when I saw the other "Forget this Hotel" review, I was thinking the same thing. I love this hotel, but the rooms are old and I have to change my room EVERY time because of the A/C. The staff is always nice and the same people recognize me when I arrive. I think... more

I am disappointed with my stay at one of Monterrey’s premier hotels. In my opinion for a hotel to maintain a four star rating service and accommodations should be above average. They should extend into all aspects of ones stay not just the front lobby. I have stayed at other hotels in Mexico including the Sheraton Isabella in Mexico City.... more

The Sheraton was a very nice hotel. I had a very large room with a king-size bed, and some of the staff spoke English. The room was comfortable and very quiet. However, it's not in the best part of town. (Although I don't know the city, so perhaps this is as good as it gets.) As a female traveling alone,... more
