My wife and I are extensive international travelers. We are both in our early 30's and enjoy seeing new places. We don't do hostels anymore or discount hotels in the states, but are not extremely picky with our needs. A typical Hampton Inn suits us fine. We booked a single room at the Heritage Inn and found it to be... more

This was our first visit to the BVI. We sailed the first couple of days with Captain Tom and Christie on Ashlana. Check out their website at www.ashlana.com. I highly recommend a charter for at least some of your stay in order to explore all the BVI has to offer. Captain Tom and Christie were the best tour guides we... more

We stayed at the Heritage Inn in late June of 2007. We found the Inn to be very comfortable and clean. The Bananakeet's food was delicious, well prepared and presented. Chris and the rest of her staff were very friendly and helpful as are all of the people of Tortola if you treat them with a little respect. I did... more

If you like good views, have a rental car, do not want to cope with the hassle of renting a villa and are happy to be in charge of your own breakfast arrangements then The Heritage Inn is for you. The rooms are comfortable - possibly a little basic - but provide an ideal start point on the top Windy... more

We have been regular visitors for years. We love the easy pace and terrific service. Chris and her staff are warm and inviting and the food at Banakeet is outstanding. We especially enjoy being able to make coffee and hang out in the mornings while watching the charter boats sail off towards Jost Van Dyke. The rooms/apartments are comfortable, clean,... more

My family and I spent 3 days at the Heritage Inn during the end of June and we couldn’t have asked for more. The view was spectacular, looking westward along the mountainous north coast of Tortola, with Jost Van Dyke off to the northwest. This small inn is perched on a cliff a few hundred feet above sea level, with... more

Last week our family of four spent two nights at the Heritage Inn on Tortola. We were coming off a week on a bareboat catamaran trip with the Moorings and needed a couple of days to get our land legs back before heading home to Connecticut. The Heritage Inn was perfect for us. Our two bedroom villa had plenty of... more

After searching the web, we reserved a room at the Heritage Inn. We arrived late at night and didn't look at it first, in part because the manager was so nice. HOWEVER, had we, we would never have stayed there. We left and forfeited a great deal of money, but the place was intolerable. Here is a list of the... more

This is a fantastic location, but the hotel is more than a little run-down. The pool is often green with algae, the screens are broken, the furniture is decrepit, which is strange since the owner also owns a furniture import company. The upper rooms are much bigger than the lower ones Service varies from friendly and inefficient to almost non-existent.... more

My husband and I just returned from a two week vacation in B.V.I. Our first week was spent on Tortola at the Heritage Inn and our second week on a bareboat charter through the Moorings. Having never been to Tortola, I spent many weeks researching different inns and hotels and was very pleased with our choice of the Heritage Inn.... more
