I have have had timeshare at the Sea Palace, St. Maarten since 1990. Friends and I have gone there every year. We THINK about trading, but never do. The reason is simple. The hotel management and staff have become like a family. They do everything they can to make our stay in our "second home", comfortable. Every year we are... more

When it comes to feeling at home .. away from home ... I can't imagine any place creating that feeling for me more so than the Sea Palace and their trusted staff. I have been stayin with the Sea Palace for over 20 years. Originally I was a bit disappointed but that was short-lived ... the "glamerous, amenity-full, deluxe" accomodations... more

Great location in Philipsburg, Unit on beach side, great view. Staff not very helpful on locations of grocery stores etc. They want you to eat in their restaurant. Reported problem with ceiling leaking in bathroom must have been unit above with a bathroom leak. They came in and put caulk on the crack. Next day leak was back, they had not... more

The Dutch side of St. Maarten in general and the Sea Palace just keep getting better. We have been going there since 1998 and have witnessed many improvements in that timeframe, the Front Street re-development and the beach and boardwalk in particular. If you're looking for a 5 star resort the Sea Palace is not for you. It is a... more

My boyfriend and I just returned from a one week vacation to beautiful St. Martin. We stayed at the Sea Palace in Phillipsburg through our time share. Overall, we felt the Sea Palace was an average hotel. Our unit was on the third floor and overlooked the street. As such, there were several mornings when we awoke to the sound... more

We stayed at the Sea Palace during Thanksgiving week, and were disappointed and would recommend anyone to avoid staying in Philipsburg altogether let alone the Sea Palace. The town of Philipsburg caters to cruise ship passengers and pretty much shuts down at 5pm. No nightlife, no restaurants, pretty much nothing to do. The beach is ok during the day; however... more

My husband, sister and I went to St. Maarten for the first time in late Sept 2007. We stayed at the Sea Palace. We always paid in U.S. dollars with no problem. My heart nearly stopped when I opened the curtains in our ocean facing apt. Steep green hills sloping down to the turquoise sea, a vast horizon stretching out... more

We stayed at the Sea Palace through RCI timeshare. The room we had 506 was not the one pictured on the RCI website! It was outdated and shabby, but at least it was clean. The a/c worked great as it was very hot and humid there. The front desk people were very nice and held our luggage before and after... more

We booked through our timeshare because our son was graduating from 8th grade and wanted to go someplace warm and had never been out of the US. Now granted we were taking 3 kids out of the country but we figured its only a 4and a half hour plane ride and we surely will all survive and we did. Only... more

We were burglarized while staying at the Sea Palace, for thousands of dollars in merchandise. Don't stay there. The owner has not contacted us about this horrible experience. The manager only says there is nothing he can do about our stolen items. The place is a dump. more
