If you're heading to Soufriere in the off-season and looking for a party, don't bother with the excitingly-named Talk2Me Cool Spot. My girlfriend and I got engaged near here and Andrea seemed genuinely excited and interested in our news. Michael took us to cool places - such as a hike in the rain forest. With much of St Lucia spoilt, corporate and unfriendly, it's really refreshing to come somewhere as nice a Soufriere and stay with people as lovely as this.... more

Just returned from St. Lucia and had a fantastic stay at "Talk to Me Cool Spot". Michael and Andrea were the most friendly hosts we could have asked for. We also stayed with Michael and Andrea for a week at Talk to Me Cool Spot. Our experiences were very similar but we readily walked into town every night and felt quite safe doing so. Our rooms were reasonably priced, clean, and had great views, but a lot of noise came up from the town below. We would definitely recommend the restaurant. The food was good and there was plenty of it. Also, before we left, the owner requested payment for our rooms in cash, not by credit card. more
