I have stayed at “Gran Bahia Principe Resorts” before and I can assure you this was not like any of them. This was my forth vacation trip to Dominican Republic and also the worst… Although the resort has a very nice lobby presentation but that’s all, nothing else is very impressive. Service is bad, they speak very little English which... more

The Hotel is great! The rooms, restaurants, lobby,... The workers are also very polite, and amusing, always trying to please us. I was there with my fiancé and the hotel is a really romantic place with marvelous gardens, BUT... The sea water of the beach is not clear like we are used to see in the caribeans, its dark and... more

I could get really picky and come up with... more

We We just returned from our honeymoon. The hotel and grounds were beautiful. It's true the water is a little murky but nice and the beach is very picturesque. I would say that by US standards the rooms were a 3 star but most everything else is a 5. The food was good for a buffet and the restaurants were... more

I couldn't wait to go to DR because so many people had a great experience. My experience, however was just the opposite. The resort is an hour outside the city, so your only way of getting off the resort is booking an excursion. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful, serene, picturesque even, but the beach and customer service were... more
