From the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel welcome. The hotel only has 23 rooms so it was so much easier to get to know the other guests and the wonderful staff. The rooms were very clean, all had air conditioning, and the housekeepers were there every day. They were friendly and obliging and nothing was... more

We stayed at the Island Inn during the first part of September, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We booked the trip as part of the Best of Barbados package, which was an excellent deal. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in the newer section of the hotel, and the rooms were large and comfortable, although a bit... more

My lovely 'other half' and I stayed at the Island Inn last month and we enjoyed every minute of the experience. This was our eighth visit to beautiful Barbados. We had previously stayed on the West Coast but the hotel we used to stay at is in the process of being renovated. We also thought about travelling to another Caribbean... more

Yes! An absolute gem. Food, friendliness, service, wildlife, the staff and the 2 beaches. There are cheaper places in the world if you want to pay 5 pounds for a beack shack in Thailand etc. However, the reviews speak for themselves. Me and a friend spent 7 fantastic days, mainly because of the people we met and the great quality... more

I stayed in April 2008 with 2 other girlfriends at this all inclusive hotel. The room was way too small for 3 people , even though we had checked in advance. However, the hotel manager did her very best and arranged all the beds in a new room. This was no mean feat in such heat. They did this with... more

This is a small hotel by normal standards, which appeared to be a good thing and certainly turned out to be. Being a small and friendly hotel the service was personal and very attentive and was at exactly the right level you want, certainly but better than a larger more commercial hotel. The staff were superb, very polite and always... more

We arrived at the Island Inn for a last min break. Only booked four weeks before and due to some reviews kept an open mind. It was amazing from start to finish, ALL staff were really great and nothing was too much trouble. The food was 5* quality with something for everyone and you could also dine at the Mango... more

Stayed here for 3 nights from 24 June 2008,with husband, son and his girlfriend before moving on to the Tamarind Cove for 7 nights. I work in the Travel Industry and tend to stay in hotels that have some character, where you can experience the flavour and meet the people of the country. The hotel is very pretty, the pool also, not huge but... more

Booked hotel via nextescape.co.uk.This is a small very friendly hotel. The staff are excellent ,the rooms are clean and comfortable .The beach is only a two minutes walk (if you have children go to the far left hand side as it remains shallow for some distance)Beware of the midday sun as it is very strong, use factor 30 for the first few... more
