Chef Darin Sehnert is a terrifically talented teacher who possesses both an incredible knowledge of his subject and a wonderful ability to convey his enthusiasm to each member of the class. My wife and I had a great experience and would not hesitate to take another class the next time we are in Savannah. more

My book club and I had a blast taking Chef Darin Sehnert's Low Country Cuisine cooking class in April. The class has just the right mix of hands on instruction as well as observation and the food is delicious. If you are looking for something fun to do while in Savannah, this is the ticket. more

During our honeymoon, my husband and I took a three hour class called "Low Country Cooking." It was in every way amazing. If you enjoy the show "Good Eats" and like knowing about the science of food preparation, Chef Darin will not disappoint. We learned an incredible amount in three hours about the origins of low country cooking and cooking... more

My mother and I stayed in Savannah for 5 days and decided to try this cooking class and we are so glad we did. Chef Darin is a doll and his class was fun and informative. It was one of the high points of our trip. Anyone who loves to cook should sign up for one of his classes. Thank... more

I did not stay at the hotel, but I participated in a cooking class. The class was Low Country Cuisine. I need to point out that Darin is an excellent instructor. This was my first trip to Savannah and I thought the place was beautiful. I loved the squares in the city. I believe that the meal that we had... more

My husband and I went to Savannah for our one year wedding anniversary. While looking for things to do before we left, I saw this was ranked #1 here on Tripadvisor. I decided to give it a try and booked the "Fresh from the Market" class on our actual anniversary, May 10. The class was from 9am-1pm. We arrived before... more

my husband and i took a cooking class with a group that was set up for us. neither of us had been to one. it was absolutely great fun. the chef had a knack for teaching a lot more than just going over the recipe. he offered a little history (not too much!) and lots of tips of, not only... more

We had such a great experience at the cooking school. I had my mother and sisters with me. I have to admit, my mom and I were not that enthused about this activity! Cooking, while on vacation, is usually not our idea of fun. We could not have been more wrong. Chef Darin was so informative and made our cooking... more

My husband and I took the "Fresh from the Market" class. It was a unique experience in that there was no set menu -- the plan was to be inspired after a trip to the fresh market and seafood market. We bought gorgeous vegetables, including beets, vidalia onions and fava beans. The strawberries were beautiful and tasty. Then, we visited... more
