We flew with TAM Airline from Sao Paulo to Foz da Iguassu and toured the area. View from plane incredible. The falls are spectacular with the new modern information centre a great lead in to the bus ride to the falls. Views across to Argentina are magnificent and the roar of the falls is tremendous. The Devils Mouth is enormous... more

It is STUNNING! It totally exceeds Niagara! Just beautiful to see stretch after stretch of beautiful waterfalls with all that greenery! be greeted by 275 falls and catarcts, and the Garganto Diablo is amazing! Just alone it is bigger than the Horseshoe falls in Niagara! and the walkways around Iguazu make viewing it a pleasure! On a global stage, Iguazu... more

Longer and more dramatic than either Vic Falls or Niagara, I rate this after the Grand Canyon as Planet Earth's showpiece. 3 km of waterfall, 275 individual cataracts, a third on... more

Visited the Falls in December, 2005. We happened to be in Iguazu during a full moon cycle and the tour guide on the bus from the aeroport to our hotel told us that we had come at a good time because there was a moonlight tour to the Falls that night (for a cost of, I believe about 22 USD).... more

Foz de Iguacu is a nice place to stay if you go to the Falls. We stayed in a very comfortable 5 star hotel in the middle of town. There's a hotel within the park but it's VERY QUIET around there. There is not too much to do or buy in town either-a dance show with buffet (husband got sick... more
