Those wooden doors that open up to Trinity College campus lead you to another world. It is filled with history, beauty, and obviously, great minds! Loved the statues, campus, Book of Kells, the long library, the students, everything! And it is so close to everything else great to see. Crowded walking downtown, but that is expected of any place many... more

Trinity College is certainly worth a visit if you're in Dublin. It's historic and attractive in its own right, but it doesn't have the ambience of (say) Cambridge. The main feature for tourists is the Book of Kells. Entrance to the exhibits is 7.50 Euros. The exhibit is quite extensive and includes a history of Christianity in Ireland, ancient Irish... more

If you are visiting Dublin you must wander around beautiful Trinity College, situated at the heart of the city. Enclosed by high stone walls is a wonderful atmosphere, cloister like seperated from the hustle and bustle of Grafron St. more

Take one of the walking tours led by Trinity College students. What an amazing 3 hours-the depth of our guide's knowledge was incredible and I came away with a much better understanding of the history and social structure of Ireland. The tours meet inside the gates of the college and different topics are offered on different days. I will take... more
