Have just returned from my second visit to Lincoln Christmas Market and have enjoyed it just as much second time around. Last year we visited on the Saturday on a day trip, which was brilliant, but this year decided on a 2-day trip staying overnight at Peterborough on the Thursday then heading into Lincoln on the Friday. Having looked forward to the visit with positive reviews noted on this website, I was very disappointed. The city was massively over-crowded with visitors (literally acres of coaches parked on fields near the showground), a fun-fair seemed out of context, and the marshals kept herding the hordes of people round the one-way system too enthusiastically, so that you could not... more

The Lincoln Xmas Market is a brilliant way to welcome in the Xmas season. Yes it gets very busy, but that tells you something about the popularity of it.
