Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

5 of 5 stars
Toronto, ON,
Aug 25, 2008

Spent four nights here - and can say with confidence that it was the most enjoyable stay at a hotel I've had... I've enjoyed Spa properties more - and the Four Seasons Paris is remarkable - but given the price I paid for an executive preferred suite (much less than the most basic room in Paris) this is my favorite... more

Casa Palermitano

Aug 25, 2008

Our first time in BsAs and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The location near to the lively part of Palermo was fantastic, only a 20 min walk or a short taxi drive away. The city overall is safe, but this partcular neighbourhood was very nice indeed. The Casa is also close to very handy direct... more

Tango Bed and Breakfast

Aug 24, 2008

My wife and I stayed three times at Tango B&B. The first time was at the end of 2003, then in Sept. 2006 and the last one May 08. Tango B&B is a very interesting place, cozy and clean. Its hosts do make the difference. Jorge and Valeria are very friendly and they do go out of their way to... more

Grand King Hotel

Germany
Aug 24, 2008

The hotel is perfectly located. However, the service of the staff is very low. The men at the hotel reception are not very willing to assist and look annoyed if you ask them something. The rooms look very pretty. However, the LCD TV on the wall had poor reception so that it was impossible to watch TV. One bulb in... more

Hotel Prince

Aug 24, 2008

I stayed there a week and we really enjoyed. When I was going Istanbul ,I had been some worried but my opinion all changed. Hotel Prince services and stuffs were great. I felt like a home. They served us traditional Turkish foods which were so yummy. Also Prince hotel 's locaiton was very central. All historical places walking distances. They... more

Aug 23, 2008

You don't get treated better than this. We stayed here for almost two weeks with breaks for trips away to Las Cataratas and to Montevideo. Each time they welcomed us back like family. The team here are super attentive - they all make sure you have everything you need for your day, provide maps, arrange taxis, help book restaurants and... more

Loft & Arte Apart Boutique

Unbelievable that people rate this hotel so good. We stayed here in april 2006, for 3 nights. We had two rooms. But we had seen all of the rooms. The rooms looked nice, but they were not comfortable. The breakfast was very small (sandwich, meat, cheese, orange juice and coffee), and when you are not on time, the sandwiches were... more

Sheraton Libertador Hotel

4 of 5 stars
Toronto, Canada
Aug 22, 2008

The Libertador was my hotel of choice for my first-ever stay in Buenos Aires; at the time of booking they had a special on for $150 USD/night, including free buffet breakfast and in-room internet. As it was my first visit to Argentina I also booked a driver to meet me at the airport and take me to the hotel, for... more

Candelaria del Monte

5 of 5 stars
Winter Park, Florida
Aug 22, 2008

Our family of four, including my two teen boys, visited and throughly enjoyed the estancia Candelaria del Monte. After the hustle bustle of sightseeing, dining and shopping in BA, this was a welcome respite from city living. We arrived at the beautiful estancia (which we visited in winter) to a delicious outdoor luncheon. We enjoyed endless delicious meals and homemade... more

Aug 22, 2008

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week on our first trip to Buenos Aires. For weeks, I had combed reviews on TA and elsewhere trying to decide on the best hotel choice. This proved to be the perfect hotel and location for us. The hotel is charming: a modern renovation of an old house in Las... more

Ibis Buenos Aires

5 of 5 stars
Porto Alegre
Aug 22, 2008

I challenge anyone to find a better hotel in Buenos Aires for the same price of Ibis. The rooms are simple, but well maintained and clean. Air conditioning worked very well. Bathroom with good shower and hair dryer. Bed and pillow could be more comfortable, but they are OK. Staff is friendly. Lobby is reasonably comfortable. The neighborhood is OK.... more

Loi Suites Recoleta

Jersey City, NJ
Aug 22, 2008

I loved the Loi Suites- the hotel is amazingly beautiful. The staff were so kind and friendly and the rooms are spacious and modern. Everything was very clean and well kept. I thought the location was fantastic. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at the Loi Suites if you are in Bs. As. more

Marriott Plaza Hotel Buenos Aires

Aug 21, 2008

I am a Platinum Marriott member, and was concerned staying in this hotel, based on some of the reviews. I am very glad that I decided to stay there, as I really liked the hotel. The staff is wonderfull and attentive, and the hotel itself very historic. It is correct that the rooms are not all the same, but that... more

The Four Hotel

Aug 21, 2008

We booked the B&B for 5 nights, after looking at their website. The website gives the impression of a nice old house, well maintained. Upon arrival the website turned out to be much nicer than the B&B. The rooms are very sparse, the blankets are so/so clean and the toilet did not work. We arrived Friday morning very early and... more

As discussed in previous review, the owners have now changed and took with them much of the charm of the place. LOCATION - POOR AREA NEAR TO LA BOCA. An Argentinian friend advised this was a dodgy location, it was, it could be nearer San Telmo centre without having to walk under the flyover past the homeless. I prefer the... more

I would like to start this review with a few remarks. Actually, I have none. Nothing to complain about. I didn´t know the word "perfection" could be associated with a hotel. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, spacious, modern and clean. There is everything you could possibly need. As I am part of Cirque du Soleil staff, I live in hotels,... more

Tango Bed and Breakfast

Aug 20, 2008

The description of the B&B doesn't do it enough justice... The owners are a wonderful couple who give you the history, hot spots and real culture of Argentina. Its beautifully tucked in the hip part of Belgrano and perfectly positioned near all sorts of restaraunts, main streets and close to subway if needed. Jorge and Valeria were great and if... more

Tailor Made Hotel

5 of 5 stars
San Francisco, CA
Aug 20, 2008

I was lucky enough to stay at the Tailor Made Hotel during a business trip to Buenos Aires. I hadn't read about it in guidebooks when I made a personal trip months earlier, so I think it's still somewhat of a secret yet to be discovered. It's a small boutique hotel, so that's not surprising. II stayed for almost a... more
