Similar to the previous post, Xaman Ek is a wonderful place for those who enjoy this type of vacation. In reading some of the less favorable reviews, it appears those people probably shouldn't have gone in the first place. we found a great online rate for this place and booked direct. our stay was awesome. i had a hard time finding a nice place close to town with a pool and tradewinds fit the bill perfectly. the beaches are NOT great in ambergris but tradewinds is on the best stretch. and thank goodness for the pool. my kids loved... more

We stayed in unit #10 which is a 2 bedroom on the ground floor on one level. Pros: 1. Extremely comfortable beds. 2. Kitchen dishes and appliances well maintained. 3.
